...Because I think she's just the cutest thing in the world when she's waking up.
We had a girls' day out today, and pretended to be "ladies who lunch" to celebrate Grandma's birthday. Ellie proved herself a cheap date and slept through the whole afternoon. And thank god. I'm still living in fear of the first time she wakes up in the outside world and demands to be fed. One of these days I will conquer public breastfeeding...just not yet.

You are in a good neighborhood for it. People in Park Slope don't care about public breastfeeding. I never got one comment or even a passing glance and I was breastfeeding without a cover all over the place. Be proud Mom! :-)
Just watched the video--doesn't get much sweeter than that! What a cutie...
A cutie, indeed.
Three months into mommyhood, and I *still* live in fear of public breastfeeding. I will only leave the house with Miss S if her belly is full.
I'm totally comfortable with it in theory, but we're still sometimes struggling with her latch, and trying to do that with other people around makes me break into a cold sweat. If i could skip that step, I think I would be totally fine.
You'll be there before you know it!
so adorable. I hope she's sleeping when i come over just so i can watch her wake up!
You could have Brian give it a go. That way he'll attract so much attention that when you breastfeed it'll be easy as pie! :)
