Is there anything cuter than a bunch of 4-year-olds at dance class?

The class is only 45 minutes long, so Gabe and I generally hang out in the hallway, making a mess with the water fountain and generally being a nuisance.  But sometimes he lets me linger by the window to the studio...and watching the class just about kills me.

Spring!

Not really...but man, yesterday felt close.  The sun was shining and temps were in the 40s.  Heaven.  So, since Ellie is still on February break we took advantage of the weather and hit up the Bronx Zoo.

Pauly Got a Car!

Today was the best day, which sounds about right, since yesterday was a total shit-storm.  Seriously, yesterday?  With the screaming kids, no napping, and Ellie pushing every button I have?  Not cool.  But today?  Today was awesome.

Ever since we left Brooklyn we haven't seen as much of my "sister-wife" as I would like.  They haven't had a car, and I'm terrible at parallel parking.  Plus, Sara went back to work full time and that definitely put a crimp in our style.  But they bought a car!  And today Sara, Andre, Paul, and Caroline came to visit.  Then, Uncle Todd and Baby Betty surprised me by showing up.  For the cherry on top, Brian had a meeting in Connecticut so he hadn't gone to the city, and he got home deliciously early.  Essentially, a slew of my favorite people were all hanging out at my house, eating chocolate chip cookies, on a random rainy Wednesday.  I'll take it.

Third Time's the Charm?

We're expecting a baby girl!  August 2014.  For the record, Ellie is absolutely thrilled, while Gabe is totally unimpressed.

Paint

I don't bust out the paints nearly as often as I should...but with winter showing no signs of EVER going away, we're getting desperate around here.  Ellie's school had a snow day on Monday.  Then there was a delayed opening on Tuesday, which meant no school for E since she only goes mornings.  Then a snow day yesterday.  THANK GOD she had school today.  We were about to get all "Lord of the Flies" in here.
